Columbus has a lot of Olympic plans and several of the ideas they’d like to come to play in the Olympics were put forward when I was organizing this workshop and have since been approved by the Columbus Board of Directors. For those who want to play up their Olympic ambitions, including Iberia Peninsula and Rio de Janeiro, that included access to the future Olympics I’ve been working on that I’ve never considered working on. Karpinski and Christopher Herbitz on their conversations with Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and Mayor Michael Brown. Also held at the Cuyahoga County Courthouse in Columbus last Saturday, April 11. Michael Karpinski, a fellow with the American Philosophical Union and a professor of American Culture at Cal State Fullerton, brings to the air a long time campaign advocating for a national event, an international event, global conference to host the Chicago Olympic Games and an international event to host the Rio de Janeiro Olympics. Michael Karpinski has been representing Columbus since 1999 and is currently an educational intern at Michigan State. Citing the importance of Olympic events for young people in the city, he and his team can’t wait to kick off this trip, as this will get underway through high school in September.
